DAY TRAINING
WHAT IS DAY TRAINING?
Day Training is a fantastic option for dogs who are comfortable working with other people in your home or out in the community.

With this service, I spend time working on desired behaviors with your dog 1 – 2 times weekly. This includes basic obedience behaviors, confidence, and socialization.

I will take videos of my sessions with your dog and post them to a private Google account so you can keep up with what your dog is doing.

Along the way, I will give you instructions on how to incorporate your dog's excellent new skills into your daily life so you experience success.
PROGRAMS
This is a critical learning time for dogs, as they are quickly moving through the puppy phase and into becoming teenagers.
Working on listening skills as well as confidence is critical to moving through this phase with as little frustration as possible so your puppy can become an amazing adult.
PUPPIES UNDER 6 MONTHS
Incorporating games, enrichment, and safe socialization into your puppy’s daily life is essential, and this program will guide you through this process.
These programs are great for getting your puppy off on the right paw to excellent behavior.
Dogs are constantly learning. As they become teenagers and move into adulthood, many times, they lose focus and start to become much more independent (i.e. not listening). We also start to see some dogs become anxious, fearful, or even reactive. Maintaining confidence and the ability to stay calm in all of life’s situations takes consistency and clear communication.
DOGS 6 MONTHS & OLDER
This program will not only work on your dog’s obedience in your home and out and about but will continue safe socialization to maintain calm and confidence.
Excellent for leash manners, reliable recalls, friendly greetings, place, choice sits as well as problem behaviors such as hyperexcitability, reactivity (fear based, not aggression), counter surfing, excessive jumping and more.
Puppies/Dogs must be current on all vaccinations, including distemper, parvo, leptospirosis, bordatella, and rabies. They also must be on a flea/tick prevention and free of all worms and parasites. This is for the safety of your dog’s health as well as the community in general.

Add dogs (if size appropriate) must wear a Freedom Harness for all training outside the home (this includes in your yard). This is for your dog’s comfort and effective humane feedback.

This session is so we can get to know one another, I may assess your puppy/dog, and I can make a plan to meet your goals.
I will also give you some tips for addressing some of your behavior concerns as well as fun games to facilitate learning.

I will make a recommendation as to which package I feel you will need to meet your goals. However, you are free to choose your package and add on as necessary.

BOOK YOUR SESSIONS
Schedule 1 – 2 sessions weekly for maximum benefit. No more than 3x weekly. Consistency is KEY!
You do not have to be home, as we can work out arrangements for me to enter your home, get your dog, do the training, return your dog to your home (if we go out and about), and then securely lock your door on my way out. I will text you when I arrive and when I leave, so there are no surprises.

We will schedule your included private session toward the end of your program
(0ne mid-way through if you have 2 sessions) so I may work with you on your puppy’s/dog’s new skills.
As with all my programs, I am available via text, phone, or email to answer any questions you may have along the way. We can even set up a ZOOM video call if necessary.

All plans are pre-paid. Payment plans are available for 8 & 12-session packages.

Dogs must be current on rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, and Bordetella vaccines, as well as have had a fecal test within the last year.

All puppies and dogs must be on a Freedom Harness if going outside of the home.

SOCIALIZATION ADD-ON
Socialization Time is great for practicing excellent, calm and confident behaviors in public, around other dogs and people.
We will walk around town, visit local businesses, pass people and other dogs, and even hang out at a local restaurant while enjoying a glass of beer or wine. Recommendations will be given along the way to help you and your dog have the best experience possible.
